I have decided to take the plunge into new car ownership and am parting with my 01 in exchange for a new 5th gen. I put her up on craigslist a few weeks ago and after dealing with the usual tire kickers coming in and offering less than half of what I was asking, I took it down and decided I wanted to keep it. I've flip flopped back and forth and have decided to list it again, and this time thought I'd post up here as well. Feel free to check out the ad:

Quick details:
-2001 Toyota 4Runner w/ TRD Supercharger
-193K miles
-Premium wheels, roof rack
-Lots of recent work done including timing belt, water pump, etc.

If anybody has any opinions on fair pricing I would definitely appreciate to hear that too. Obviously I’m not in a huge hurry to sell or anything so I didn’t want to let it go away for nothing. Plus of course the valuation on these vehicles is so subjective compared to others where you can just look up a blue book value.

I think you priced it right for Denver market. Should sell for at least $8000. SC is worth +$2k.

Great, I figured as much. I guess the biggest thing was I wasn’t quite sure how much (if any) a supercharged added to value. Good to hear!

I can tell you i paid $6K for mine here in Aurora. It has 225K in it but was single owner, perfectly maintained with documentation, supercharged, and had several other mods and upgrades. I’m sure yours will sell at that price but it may take a little longer. I just saw another gen 3 here in town with lots of work done including the blower for $11K with around 150K on the clock.

Yeah it is definitely all subjective since you can't really just pull a book value and go from that. Like I said, I'm not in an enormous hurry (as much as I want that 5th gen) but if over time I don't get much interest I can obviously begin to drop it a little. Thanks for the input!

Haha not the worst idea I've ever heard! I think right now the goal is to be shooting for something brand new to play with and build on but if anything changes I'll be sure to let you know. Sweet rig for sure!!!

Nothing in particular, just frame around wheels wells and whatever else you can get fairly easily.

I apologize for taking so long to post up the pictures, I just hadn't had a chance to make it to the car wash to get off all the stuff that got underneath from the last snow storm we had (and I still didn't do a great job). Let me know if there is anything else specifically you'd like to see!

I'm not totally sure when the supercharger was installed, the previous owner told me it was factory installed and I believe they were the original owner. I opened it up last summer to take a look at the bearings and internals and everything looked to be in good shape, so I didn't do any rebuilding but I did change the fluid. No seepage at all, I'll see if I can snap a closer pic of that as well.
