For sale is my 2002 4runner, 178k miles, 8500.00... It is auto and has all of the normal options, including sunroof, tow package, etc. I don't know every option, but the original window sticker is in one of the pics so those can be clearly seen.
I am the second owner of this vehicle (although it appears as a one owner on Carfax)- first owner was 50 something female nurse and had the vehicle until 120kish miles; I am over 40 professional female- with both owners, truck was garaged, never off-road, no smoking, etc. It has been used to haul groceries, period- no heavy towing ever done.
The Good:
-interior is immaculate- looks new except for very minor cracking in front seats and small place on drivers side seat. Interior is exactly what you would expect for a vehicle only driven by 2 professional women.
- runs flawlessly. All systems work as they should, including 4 wheel drive, rear window, sunroof, etc.
- never in any accidents.
- totally original except for normal replacement things like filters, battery, and hoses.
- Brand new tires- BF Goodrich all terrain, 265/70R16- literally have 7000 miles on these tires
- new battery, about a month or so old
-new inspection last week- was told everything looked great/nothing needed
- Have all original manuals and original window sticker
The Bad:
- antennae does not retract - it stays deployed
- small rust spot on rear, right chrome bumper (will post pic)
- some dings and scratches, but less than usual for an 02- rear left wheel flare was scraped (will post pic)
- there is sometimes a small oil leak. This has been ongoing for last 2-3 years. When it occurs, it is a spot on the pavement the size of about a quarter or a little bigger. I know NOTHING about engines, but I had this checked and was told that it was a leak in the rear main seal (?). I was advised to do nothing but monitor oil level between changes. I have not noticed that it uses oil between changes, but wanted to disclose everything I know.
