FS: 285/70/17 Nitto Terra Grapplers

This is just a feeler for my tires. They have a little over 2,000 miles on them, and less than 3 months of driving. The spare has never touched the road. These are great tires and were my second set of Nittos, but it's time for MT tires with the mods I am doing over the next couple months.

These cost me over 1200 new ($209 each). Price is $800 for all 5.

Since this is just a feeler, and I love the tires, I am not negotiating prices. It's set at $800. If there is no interest I will just run them until they wear out before I get the MT's.

Why not get 5? He fit his spare in the factory location, so I do not see why you could not as well.

You should always have a full size spare, never know when you will need it. You do not want to be driving around on different sized tires in a 4wd truck, its not good for things. :cheers:

The mileage is just over 2,000 as it says in the second sentence of this thread.

There are plenty of pictures of my truck in the Gallery section from our recent off road trips if you'd like to see them. They are too new for me to bother with detailed pictures though.

But I am then left with 1 useless tire that I have to try to get rid of. For an even $700 I'll sell 4, otherwise I need to ditch all 5 at once.

I reiterate my point, why would you risk not having a full size spare? If you got a flat and and had to run your spare and it was a different size, it can potentially really do some bad things to your drivetrain.

It puts unneeded stress your differential(s) since you have wheels spinning at different speeds constantly. I have tried to find some links to threads talking about this topic, but have so far failed miserably, I will keep looking though.
