FS: 3rd GEN 1999 Limited Black 4-runner, well built, lifted, $8500, Southern Illino
Due to the need of a Tundra (I need to haul a large camper) I am selling my 1999 4-Runner. Limited trim. This truck is loaded. Black in color with Tan leather interior. $167,xxx miles. This is my daily driver, so the miles will go up. As you can see, this truck has many, many upgrades over stock. :jump:

Synthetic fluid installed around 110,xxx miles

Stock E-Locker in the rear
Synthetic 75w90 everywhere (changed around 130,xxx miles)

ScanGauge 2 OBDII Interface

Front Toytec 3" Coil-Overs and shocks
Rear Rough Country Shocks OME 896 Springs w/1 1/2" spacers

five Custom 16" wheels (Level 8)
five 285/75 R16 Goodyear Duratracs
the reason for five is the full sized spare. These tires (all five) have been rotated every 5xxx miles.

One of the reasons I bought this truck is that it came with every service record since the truck was bought new. The couple that originally owned it took it to the dealership for EVERY scheduled item in the manual. By 90K it even had it's brake lines flushed twice

Since I bought it, I have run synthetic oil, and changed out all fluids to synthetic fluids. I have purchased all of the parts to do the timing belt maintenance, but have not done so. I have also purchased the parts to change out the valve cover gaskets and misc. gaskets that go along with maintenance job. There is a very small oil leak around the valve covers, that is the reason for the purchase of the parts. I just haven't done the job.
The front CV joints were changed out with Napa lifetime parts, and the originals are now spares. (one of the originals needs a new boot).
The interior is in good shape, the drivers seat has typical leather wear for it's age.
The BAD:
Typical scratches and such for a vehicle of this age. One of the rear seats has a small puncture/tear in the leather. Very minor. Cargo area plastic shows signs of scratches (it is after all a cargo area).
There is a nice dent in the rear hatch where I backed into a tree while the bumper was removed (DOH!) :mmph:. The good thing is that it is behind the gas(jerry) can and can't be seen unless you have the rear tire carrier unlatched and open.
Only mechanical issue I am aware of is the rear axle seals will need replaced as they have started showing signs of leakage.
The GOOD:
It's a Toyota!!! It runs great, goes down the road straight, will take you anywhere. I just completed a 3000 mile trip to Ouray, Colorado and went on the Alpine loop where the truck performed great. I even went up poughkeepsie gulch (when it was wet) so the truck can perform.
I have every maintenance receipt since the truck was made. (you know that is a good thing)
Pioneer aftermarket radio with Blutooth and hands free phone.
Automatic climate controls
Tundra Break upgrade to 231MM rotors/pads
Cruise, tilt, Moonroof, etc. All of the items you would expect with the limited trim.
I am asking $8500 FIRM for this vehicle. I can quickly total over $7k in aftermarket parts purchased, not to mention installation, so I believe this is a fair asking price.
