For sale for $5000 OBRO is my rare 3rd Generation Lifted 4runner SR5 SPORT with TRD supercharger. Black with Tan Leather interior. Purchased in Indiana and driven to NY 5 years ago, I am the 2nd owner. I have the original window sticker. 191,000 original miles. But if you read on you'll see most things are not stock anymore. List of upgrades is long...and I have photos and receipts for pretty much everything. My uncle owns Glens Falls Toyota in upstate NY, and I've had all major work done on it there, as you can imagine. They did most of the major work and maintenance.


-Original stock 3.4L V6 with TRD supercharger kit
-Underdog Racing Development 7th Fuel Injector kit and ECU
(laptop programmable to adjust fuel and timing curves)
-Smaller Pulley by URD, makes 9-10psi under full boost
-Walbro 190LPH fuel pump
-Upgraded valve body in Auto transmission to handle the extra HP
(professionally installed by Level 10 Performance- Level 10 Performance Transmission Systems Bulletproof Transmissions,Supercharger)
-Automatic transmission cooler
-High flow air filter / intake box (s&b)
-Doug Thorley ceramic coated headers, professionally installed
-Mangaflow High Flow Catalytic converter
-TRD high flow stainless cat back exhaust (less than a year old)

- Autometer Cobalt Digital Boost Gauge mouted in custom a pillar with

not included in asking price but still available for extra are:
-Aftermarket "Ultra" brand wheels from tire rack with Bridgestone Dueller tires which are passable for inspection, but maybe only have 1 more summer. 18"
-PIAA fogs

As you can probably tell, I have put a lot of time, money, and effort into this truck. It is extremely fast for what it is, as well as reliable. Inspected until october 2016.

These underside pics were taken today, 30 min ago. I used a crappy utility light, an iphone6, and a creeper. I think they're pretty unflattering. I didn't wash anything before hand. Including the inside rubber floor mats but hey those clean up nice. the underside? i'll let you tell me

I don't know if anyone knows this but New York State inspections are yearly, and they love to fail you for whatever they can and charge you money. I didn't always have it inspected at my family dealership, no one said anything about problematic rust. It just had an inspection as well.

Anyways, without further delay, here are underside photos, photos of floor mats, photos of TRD exhaust, photos of headers, and... you can see the Old man emu shocks and arb sway bars too.

I think it's a really nice looking runner. I just bought an 01 black sr5 sport. Wish I had a super charger. That rust is going to hinder your sale. If I were you, I'd get under there and do some prep work on that. Wire brush as much as you can, take pics, for this feed, of metal after clearing the rust, then spray with undercoat protection. But make sure to take plenty of pics so potential buyers know the condition of the metal under the new paint.

I have been driving a supercharged 4Runner since my 98 went under the knife back in 2000. There is nothing better for a head turner. I would have kept this forever, but now I drive a minivan full of 4 kids. After 15 years, I literally outgrew the 3rd gen 4Runner.

I'm having a hard time selling mine because it's only 2wd.
Fun vehicles for sure!

You SHOULD go to a welding shop and have them cut out the section and weld some plate over it. I have a 2000 Limited I am selling and it was a NY vehicle. pretty decent hole in the frame. The frame is tubular it is structurally sound ( I lifted the truck up during initial inspection and had laid it right at hole. it handled just fine with the weight of the truck on it) Down here it is going to cost me 500 for that work. Not sure what some welding shops will charge up there.

If you keep it this winter it is not like the truck will fall apart, and from the looks of that hole its not too bad. I would definitely have it repaired. If only I would have sold the 4Runner I need to fix the frame on already, I would be interested in this for sure.

I found a dealership which is willing to give me between $3000-$3500 for it in trade, as well as take the $2200 i still am paying on it and put that all in a loan towards a...

....2015 subaru WRX limited.... nav, push button start, harmon/kardon system, etc.



i guess i'm getting about what someone will have low balled me for anyways

can't say i didn't try to have it go to someone who would appreciate the performance parts on it but whatever. rust is scary i guess

So, you're only getting $800-$1300 for it. I'd hold out and keep trying to sell it privately. WRXs aren't going anywhere and waiting another month or so might get you another grand or two.

That's a horrible deal they offered you! They offered you 3,000-3,500?? Adding the remaining 2k to the other loan is hardly a favor on their end. That's standard for anyone who walks in there still owing money. I would never take that deal! Your super charger alone is worth more that 1k. The worst thing a person can do is rush a sale/buy. Don't cost yourself money.
