2002 4Runner Sport Edition
Excellent Condition - New Custom Build was Just Finished
$16,900.00
Located in Foothills above Sacramento CA
Took a bone-stock 2002 4Runner Sport Edition and built to below specs. Currently stands w/ 163K Miles. I am not original owner but this rig had a clean Car Fax when I bought it. History shows Arizona and California owner history and there is no rust.
This rig was done professionally and done RIGHT by Concept Motorsports, Grass Valley.
Sound System and Alarm by Jim Inman and his Team @ Electronic Solutions, Grass Valley.
Everything on the truck is in good working order. The timing and water pump are documented at 123,905. The only things I can find needing repair would be the valve cover gaskets. We just noticed a little weeping is starting around the valve covers. It’s very minor, but something to address at some point. I haven’t gotten around to changing the plugs and wires so would probably do those at time of valve covers. The other item worth mentioning is the rear cargo roll-up cover. The truck didn’t come with one so I sourced a used one from eBay. It’s a slightly different shade of tan that the remaining interior. Most people don’t notice, but it’s worth calling out as the dealer quoted me $800 for a matching NEW one. The guy that sent me the roll cover threw it in a box with no packing material (not sure what he was thinking). As you can imagine it got rattled around in the box during shipping and managed to crack a few small pieces out of the end cap hangers. It still works OK, but since the plastic was damaged it causes the roller to slightly twist in the side brackets as you pull it open and into the extended position. The clips holding it on the seat head rest tubes seem to help stabilize it well. The cover works great but it’s not perfect or like new. And finally, the front ashtray was missing when I bought it. I don’t smoke so it never bothered me it wasn’t there. In summary, I take extremely good care of all my cars which is a bit of work considering I have a few to look after right now. Obviously, I can only attest to the care while this rig was under my watch, but we spent allot of time and energy (and money) to make this into a fantastic 3rd Gen.
