Hey everyone, I am selling a FULL set of the black textured plastic fender flares that came on some of the SR5 models. I have the highly sought after front mud-flaps too. Everything is in pretty good shape for its age, but I will detail any and all flaws here in the post so you know exactly what you are getting. I don't want anyone unhappy or mad at me so I'm disclosing everything here.
The rear flares are nearly perfect. The only defect I could find on either side is the passenger side has a little nick in the plastic, not really noticeable. I highlighted the damage in a picture below with the flash, keep in mind the flash makes everything look worse... For the rear flaps I have all the hardware necessary. The screws with bolt heads for the fender flares, the clips and screws for the small parts that go on the doors, and the bolts for the rear mud-flaps as well.
The front flares are in pretty good shape as well, but not perfect. The driver side has some light scraping all the way across it, but isn't terrible. Most of it can't be felt with your finger. There are a few deeper scratches that you can see in the pics but none of it is cracks or really broken. The flash makes it look worse once again. I think with some sort of dressing or maybe even just going over it with a heat gun would make it almost unnoticeable. Heat guns are supposedly a good pay to restore plastic trim like this. I've never done it, but there's a bunch of Youtube videos on it.
The passenger side flare doesn't have any gouges or scratches in it, but it is a little bent. I don't think this would be an issue bolting it up to your truck though. It should straighten out and if it isn't perfect you could shape it a little with a heat gun.
Now, for the front mud-flaps everyone wants so badly. The passenger side is in nearly perfect shape, throw a little dressing on it and it's ready to go. The driver side unfortunately is broken, but I think it is easily salvageable. I detailed the damage to it in the pictures below and I think with a little epoxy and an aluminum bracket or two you should have a solid mud-flap for the driver front as well. There doesn't appear to be any plastic missing, the break seems to line up so it should go back together pretty cleanly. I had to make little brackets to fix my rear mud-flap when I got my truck as the previous owner broke it on something... It's not hard to do with basic hand tools.
I have the hardware for everything except the passenger front flare, the bolts got torn up while I was removing it so you'll just have to find matching hardware from the driver side at Lowes or so. The bolts may be available from Toyota as well if you want to go the OEM route. For the driver side mud-flap I have all the bolts, but I am missing the two plastic screw push pin things that go through the mud-flap and into the flare. These broke when I was removing it, but you can get replacements at an auto-zone or anywhere like that.
The hardware I have is everything that I removed to get the flares off of the truck, I assume that is everything you would need to put the flares on your truck, but you should confirm. It is seen in the ziploc bag in the pictures of all the flares together.
