1998 4Runner Limited. 3.4l V6, Automatic, 4x4, power windows (including rear window), power locks, power mirrors, sunroof, Dual power seats, leather, etc.

I bought this from my dad at the end of 2009. He bought it either late 2000 or early 2001 (From Fox Toyota) so I know the complete service history for the past 17 years! Not wrecked in that time period (or ever, as far as we know). I would guess I'm the 3rd owner, but I don't know that for sure.

Notable service history:
Front brakes done less than 20,000 miles ago (will probably last another 60k)
Rear brakes done 500 miles ago (New shoes and drums)
Oil changed less than 1500 miles ago (Oil always changed between 3,000-3,500 miles)
Transmission fluid changed less than 1500 miles ago
Transfer case and both differential fluids changed less than 30,000 miles ago
Brake fluid and power steering fluid changed less than 5,000 miles ago
Timing belt and water pump changed less than 20,000 miles ago.
Engine blew at 105,000 miles. There was a hole in the oil pan and the best we can tell it just lost all the oil and threw a rod. Engine was replaced with a unit that only had 10,000 miles on it from White's Auto Sales in Vonore so the engine has 95,000 less miles than the vehicle itself.

Odometer is 245,XXX miles. Engine only has around 150,000 miles though. Drives excellent and I wouldn't hesitate to drive it across the country.

Rear bumper is a little rusty and has a dent in it on the driver side where my wife backed into it in the driveway.
There's a dent in the middle of the rear liftgate.
The fuel gauge displays weird: Shows 5/8 when it's actually full and sits on empty for a while before it's actually empty.
There's a rip in the side of the driver's seat leather.
The power antenna doesn't work.
Trip odometer doesn't work but main odometer works as it should.
Interior and exterior has normal wear and tear but is in excellent shape overall for it's age/use.

Everything is solid. Let me see if I can find the worst spots and take pictures. There's a little bit of surface rust near the end of the frame but nothing bad at all. In the rear fender wells on the front edge where the pinch seams come together there's a little something there too but nothing that I've seen to be a problem.

This spot on the rear passenger frame is the worst on the whole vehicle other than the rear bumper. The rear fenderwells are hard to see, but on the inside front they're not perfect. I think it's a flaw in the design IMO because they gather gravel/dirt/etc. there and rust some. I cut that part off so it wouldn't hold junk and cause problems. Overall very clean other than the dirt underneath as a result of my gravel driveway. Feel free to PM me your number if you want to talk on the phone to get a better feel for things.

Im in the market for a modified 4Runner. Is the truck silver or white?

A/C strong? Also, looks like the back bumper is down at angle on one side. Is that the case?

I believe the technical color name is Desert Sand Mica. It's kinda like a champagne/silver color but then straight silver around the bottom. AC blows cold and has never even had to have any service for at least the last 8 years but I don't think it has for 17 years. No need though, because it works great. The rear bump is bent where my wife backed into it in the driveway. Would look great with a new rear from Shrockworks or similar.
