I purchased these (4) Wing Bolts about 10yrs ago from Steve @ Sonoran Steel. They are great for quickly removing the rear seat cushions (i.e. either for camping or needing additional cargo space, etc.). I just no longer use them any more.
They have zero rust. Originally, they came as bare metal. I initially spray painted the “wings” black (they need retouching now) and wrapped the shafts in black electrical tape (protects the metal against scratches better than paint will).
You can remove both paint and tape easily if you wish to redo them.
Will sell the set for $60 shipped. They retail for approx $80 new. Pix below of both before and after.
