Was the body lift install very difficult or relatively easy?
Easy. Start to finish maybe 45 minutes? But I am pretty experienced and used to be a tech so that kinda helps me haha. For a newb I would still say easy, just more time. Can be done with basic tools.

I meant the top metal washer, but I figured out it was a washer..lol.i put the body lift on without any problems

Ordered my 2 inch Fat Pats Body Lift for my 4th gen runner. It arrived quickly and installation was relatively easy using regular hand tools and a jack. Seller was there for consult throughout the process at all times as well as another friend (referred by Pat) who had previously installed the same 2 inch kit on his 4th gen too. I like it a lot. Helps me clear my tires without needing a body mount chop. Very inexpensive alternative to the FJ bracket lift ($1500 shipped to Hawaii) that I was planning to do to fit the tires without alterations but no longer have a need for. You say that it helped you clear your body mounts...have a picture of the clearance you've gained? I've been considering this for my 5th gen and I didn't think it would help with body mount clearance..
