tl;dr $1,495 for a GOBI rack estimated to arrive in 1 month...final production date still TBD
I have a rack on order for a 4th Gen 4Runner from GOBI that's currently at 13 weeks since I ordered. I've been waiting 9 days now for them to get back to my production update request (which they would not give me over the phone) and I'm sort of fed up with Gobi and their piss-poor customer service and policies and also not sure I really want/need a rack so much as I thought I did 3+ months ago :/ It's either eat the $500 cancellation fee or take delivery and sell the rack locally, which is where you come in.
So, if anyone is interested in taking delivery of my rack (link here) please let me know. It's an opportunity to get a GOBI rack with in effect probably a 1 month lead time if they were at the 16-17 week mark, though I still have not heard back from Gobi on final production date so delivery date is TBD; will update here when I know more. (for reference: 16 weeks would be September 4th). They still estimate 12-16 week production times on their website so an order today is likely not getting delivered this year, so here's your chance to skip to the front of the line
I'd be willing to sell at a $100 discount so $1,495 and you'd need to come pick it up in Seattle or I may be able to divert it to a family member's house in Redmond but that's only if Gobi would allow it. We can discuss payment but cash is king, Venmo allowed with safeguards to protect both parties.
