Hey yall, I'm new on here but have been a frequent visitor since even before the day I decided to bring my baby home. I'm a mechanic and I took this in as my new daily/project but I've since realized I'd much rather build something entirely from scratch.
She's (I believe the color is "Desert Dune Metallic & Silver" although I've also heard "Beige Pearl Metallic & Silver") and a 97' Limited, fully loaded:
Leather, Power Everything, Roof Rack, Locking Rear Diff, the whole shabang.

---Full disclosure, I intend to be entirely honest so there will likely be a wealth of unnecessary information here. My apologies in advance.---
Not without her issues:
-Rust: this is a Midwest truck. It has typical midwest bottom surface rust (I'll put up pictures of it when I have a chance) All hardware that I've replaced has been done so with Stainless Steel.
-Apparently I over-stressed the sway bar links at some point so I'll be replacing them with a fresh set this week- I don't take this off-roading so it was honestly a bit of a surprise when I saw them this afternoon while changing oil.
-The rear wiper spring is worn out so it no longer holds the blade tight against the glass, I have a new OEM blade and will be replacing the assembly/spring or otherwise fixing it so that it wipes correctly.
-There's currently a leaking wheel cylinder so I'll be replacing the cylinders on both sides as well as the hardware/springs this week
-There's a tear on the side of the driver's seat, I don't yet know if I will have this repaired as I haven't yet gotten around to getting quotes.
-Cracked plastic front fascia. I don't know what this is from, but there were no accidents listed on the truck, I was expecting to fab a bumper so I didn't mind when I bought it.
*Everything else works as intended*
The good news is she's mechanically sound and I've put plenty of love (that means money, right?) and a bit of time into her.
In the form of parts:
-Tundra Brake Upgrade (231mm) in High Temp White Epoxy
-New Rear Shocks (Monroe, LT)
-New front windshield
-Fresh bulbs (High Mount & License Plate)
-New starter and battery
-Fresh Belts (and I believe the water pump was done @128k)
-JVC head unit and Kicker front speakers (I have an 8" sub, not set up)
-265/70R17 (31.8") Goodyear Wrangler AT/S Tires <7,000mi
-Level 8 Mk. 6 Rims, Matte Black and a LOT of extra lug nuts...
-Recent Tune-up: Plugs, oil & filter, upper rad hose, full inspection 9/1/2015
-Factory Trunk Cover
-Uniden Bearcat 980 SSB Radio, Pyle PA Horn, 18' PL-259 and two firestiks that haven't been mounted yet. Black 2' and a White 4'. Black was set to go on a heavy spring in the factory location and white on the rear bumper.
-I started a Satoshi grill but couldn't find a retailer for the expanded metal I was looking for: can be replaced with a stock grill if asked.
I also have everything I've taken off the truck including:
-Factory running boards
-Double-Din OEM Headunit and multidisk changer
-Power mast mount/bracket assembly
-Factory wheels and tires (*NOTE* these will not currently fit over the bigger front brakes)
-Front-most fender flares (Removed to alleviate rubbing of the over-sized tires- at the time I was expecting to fab a steel bumper)
I'm asking 7,150 which is negotiable within reason, especially since this is a bit of a "rush order" but is also significantly less than what 4Runners with 200k are going for at dealers in the same condition but bone stock.
Trades welcome and will be entertained (manual only, please) but as I'll be leaving in 3 weeks (Sept. 21st) for basic training at Camp Pendleton and my money can sit in a bank account for free instead of in a storage unit for $200/mo. cash is certainly king and much preferred- the idea is that it will seed my next project. If you've got something you think is out of the ordinary I'd love to hear about it.
I will be adding pictures later today (9/2) of the interior as well as a couple different views of the truck. I also have receipts for absolutely everything.
