I've purchased a replacement, so unfortunately, the 4Runner has to go. I've had this vehicle for 12 years now and she's been great. 1997 Limited w 265K. I bought her in 2008 with ~130K. Has been a great camping, offroad vehicle also. Yes, she's 2WD, but I've installed a eLocker to make it a little easier to go off road. She's fun and has gotten me everywhere I've needed.
I've got the old rear axle and diff also if anyone wants to swap back. Asking Very reliable, strong engine, and would trust it to drive me wherever I need. Have gone to the keys and back numerous times and hauled a car/trailer. $3500. I'm in the Albany, GA area.
The good:
eLocker with new bearings installed in 2018
Tundra suspension and has a lot of flex.
Rear OME Springs and Bilsteins
New Rotors and Pads replaced last year
Nitto Terra Grapplers 265/70/16
80/100W Headlight Bulbs
Transcooler (bypassed the radiator)
LED Flood Lights recessed into rear bumper
99+ Center Console installed
Nice Seat Covers on the front seats
Upgraded stereo with Bluetooth
Interior LED lights
Trailer Brake Controller with 7 Pin Connector
Rola Roof Rack
Upgraded the rear cargo compartment to the 99+ larger panels
Completely rust free from being a South GA vehicle!
The bad:
Rear bumper has a scratch from trying to align to the trailer
Scratch on rear right door from someone hitting me in parking lot
this has been painted over, but can be seen.
Has a slight oil leak from the valve cover gasket. I've bought the parts to replace it, just haven't gotten to it. These will come with the truck.
