I gotta say though that took a solid 3 hours to paint and that was the top coat. Priming and sanding took a good bit of time too.
I still think you have an awesome idea but prep and paint on a complex scheme will be quite a challenge for anyone....unless I just suck at painting which is entirely possible [emoji6]

Nope I completely agree thus we have just the plain jane version as well lol. I wouldn't have had the patience to do what you did so excellent job on that lol

OK so as promised this is what I did for the rear. All you need are some electrical connectors, green painters tape, and some strong epoxy. I used jb weld since I had it on a shelf.
All you have to do is flatten the crimp end by spreading it out. That creates a nice attachment surface for the emblem.
Then take your painters tape and mark out the space in between the holes for the post inserts.
From here you can do one of two things. You can either insert the two posts and test position your emblem with a transfer mark or since you know the space between the two holes via the painters tape you can simply measure and mark center long ways and out to the edges vertically on the back of the emblem.
I slathered quite a bit of epoxy on the back of the emblem and covered the flat pieces as well since jb weld binds well from angles. Then I put the tape on the back of the emblem and positioned the poles accordingly.
Wait 24 hours or so for a full cure or at least 12 before sticking this on your runner
