Hey squad - my 1999 4Runner was recently totaled and unfortunately, I've decided it's time to part ways with my custom sleeping platform. My dad and I spent an entire weekend building it and I used it for a 2-month road trip around the country. It provides great accessible storage and a (relatively) big sleeping space. It does require removing the back seats to use, but I think it was only a handful of easily accessible bolts to get them out.
For storage, the entire thing collapses into the 8 cross boards and the 9 storage box lids. It is easy to pull apart and put together - takes about 10 minutes.
You can see the photos of it at the bottom of this page on my site: bryceheltzel.com/4runner
I'm in San Francisco and this would be pickup only. I was hoping to get $100 just to cover some of the original wood cost (I think all the materials cost me $150-200 originally) or best offer. Hope someone else could get some real use of it instead of it all laying under my bed.
Thanks for looking.
