I had a thought.

I am sure you are busy, just as I am. I work 2 jobs and getting tasks done are difficult
If you are okay with it. Just ship the Brush guard as is, and I will take it to my local welder to have the crack fixed.
If you are okay with that please let me know.
All I ask is that you would take off, what it would cost on your side for the welding.
