Well, the time has come for me to sell my beloved "Jitters", unfortunately. I needed something more comfortable and practical for highway commuting. So I ended up getting a 2001 Lexus RX300 really cheap at an auction, which only needed some minor work to get it in good running condition. Selling the 4Runner is a really difficult decision, and I'm only doing it because I simply can't afford to hold onto it right now. I'm sure I will regret this in the near future. But a chronic battle with Lyme disease has forced me to change up my priorities. Anyways . . .

I dont think I need to explain too much about the truck, as my build thread is here. You can see most of what Ive done to it over the years.

- Heat and AC work
- 4X4 perfect
- Power locks, windows
- Interior is very good
- Exterior still looks very good
- No body rust
- Engine, tranny, transfer case, front and rear diffs all good

The bad

- Some surface rust on the undercarriage, nothing bad, nothing even close to structrual
- Paint isnt perfect. It's 20 years old
- Parking brake lever is not currently attached. I'm working on it
- Otherwise everything works

Yes, I know for a fact I will. When I inevitably buy another one in the future I will have a lot of work ahead of me to make it like "Jitters". I am only selling because I got a Lexus RX cheap at an auction, and it is the commuter that I need for now, while I need the money to pay med bills. I'll actually come out ahead after selling the 4Runner. But yeah, it's the first vehicle I purchased with my money. I've owned it for seven years. Taken from Wisconsin to wyoming 5 times. It's the vehicle I learned to do auto work and maintenance with. Became a hobby and obsession like pretty much all of us on this forum. I am definitely feeling the sentimental attachment at this point. But, I know I'll be back in the future when things calm down with my Lyme disease. I'll probably end up tracking down my truck and buying back.
