Selling NEW in box DOUG THORLEY 2005-2009 4th gen V8 headers.

New, never installed. Comes with gaskets, 16 studs and 16 nuts (cost $75 alone). Headers go for just over $700 usually.

$625 SHIPPED to you, savings well over a hundred dollars. Have all receipts.

There's also an entire section for 4Runner items for sale, THIS section, with literally hundreds of 4th gen items listed. Someone else started the '4th gen only' thread on their own accord, and it's in the 4th gen general discussion area. I believe the first sentence in the first post on that thread was very clear about that.

Whats got you selling them? Thats a nice mod for the v8 to just get rid of.

I anticipate selling my truck sometime in the next ~3 years. I can't really justify the install cost right now.

Ahh sorry to hear your getting rid of the runner..
What kind of install price quotes were you getting just curious?

One guy said $600 but he was in between shops, then things just fell apart. Other shops anywhere from $750 all the way to "book time" which was 10-12 hours PER side at $90 an hour

Seems like a solid FS listing and a very good deal. Get the headers for the best deal I've ever seen AND get the hardware that you'll need anyway. Great upgrade for a cracked manifold V8, I love the power increase from mine. Makes cruising and crawling feel like she's breathing easier. Good luck with you sale, free bump.

For anyone worried about install, I jigged mine up on a wood jig from old manifolds and had a friend weld some pipe and flanges on for some pizza/beer cost. About $100 in SS tube, flanges, gaskets. Installed myself in a weekend with hand tools and no lift, bolt on installation once you have flanges or catalysts welded to them.

Im going to talk to my shop today and ill get an install quote. If its reasonable and these are still around when I get some money together ill contact you. I like the Tundra. A GX would be nice too. And land cruiser would be amazing but I'm nowhere near LC money so...
IF they ever finally came back with a v8 4Runner again, or a turbo diesel, then I'd get the 4Runner.

Forgive my ignorance - but other than the welding of the exhaust pipe - these just bolt on correct? After you pull out everything in the way of course... Is that the biggest hurdle with these?

I believe the biggest hurdle is the very tight quarters in the engine bay makes getting to the studs somewhat tricky. There's a very long thread about these but very useful information. Some people claim a DIY install in a garage with hand tools in 6 hours, some have horror stories of 20 hours of shop time.
Beside welding to the factory cats, yes, all bolt on after that

Gotcha. I need to pop my hood this weekend and take a look. I don't mind long hours and tight work spaces, but I do mind breaking bolts. That seems to be a big concern from my quick search.
