This is an OEM cd and radio unit from my 2008 4Runner.

Not sure what other years it fits.

I took it out immediately after I purchased new.

I am honesty not sure if it is compatible with a 2000 4Runner....my guess is not as the pig tails are probably different as well as the brackets.
 
Alright, well the wifey decided she liked being able to plug her ipod into the Alpine already in the car so she decided not to go with a stock unit anyway.
