Just picked up a baja rack today and I am in your neighborhood off of Limonite.

I'm interested in the rack and live up in Santa Clarita. Are those awning mounts on the side, does it come with them? What's the crossbar situation?

Those are awning mounts off to the side and they do not come with the rack. Not quite sure what you're referring to in regards to the crossbar. If it's the photo with L shaped tabs with allen bolts you're asking about, those are for the fairing I just didn't remove those in the photo.

Too bad about the awning mount. I was referring to the round bars that go across the rack there's one fixed and one can be taken off or there's the option to have it welded on too. Just can't tell from your photo.

Are you around this weekend if I can convince my wife to let me spend the money on this?

The cross bars you see in the photo above and below the mesh are all fixed/welded to the entire rack itself. the only modular part is the removable sunroof insert.

As of right now the rack is pending sale. I will let you know if it falls through.
