Ordered mine and they were shipped same day and I received them next day. Amazon can't even top that. Very happy with the results but wish the carbon fiber was cleaned up around the edges a bit more.

1/31 – Posted in thread about giveaway “not diggin’ the lack of communication”

1/31 – PM received, replacement order is shipping today.

2/4 – Posted response in thread about not receiving order

2/4 – I sent PM inquiring on order since no reply was received

2/4 – PM received, informed order shipped yesterday, “free t4r ti for the trouble” included. Tracking number provided

2/5 – USPS confirmed shipment, scheduled delivery 2/8

At no point was I informed product was not available or out of stock. Only responses received were after I posted in thread, I didn't want to go that way, but was left no choice. Timeframe from time of order, providing payment, to receiving product is unacceptable IMO.

Not trying to throw seller "under the bus", but thought I needed to let anyone considering purchasing these items what they may be in for.................

I don't know paint pig and I have nothing in this, but it is pretty obvious from my experience with him and the reports of others that shipping times are sluggish. I have yet to hear from anyone who DIDN'T receive an order in the end, though.

My impressions are that:

A) this isn't his job, it's an on the side venture, probably done after work hours on company machines

B) response has been more than anticipated

C) paint pig isn't super 'social media' / forum / PM savvy

Combine these three things and you have a recipe for sluggish manufacturing and shipping. If you want his product then you buy it knowing that, as evidenced by other posts in this thread - that any smart buyer should review before making a purchase.

I too own a side business (since 2007) that is operated after my full time job. A quick way loose business is failure to communicate with your client! If I had be keep "up to date" on status good or bad, at least I would have known what was going on and could have decided to A) wait, which I would have been fine with or B) request a refund.

Don't disagree, he offers a nice product.

C) paint pig isn't super 'social media' / forum / PM savvy

Disagree, he was able to create this thread, post pictures, post replies, reply to PM's, and accept payment.

I try and take care of my customers...

As others have said this is a side thing that i do on my own time (no company machines or company time)

i try and get out a good product but sometimes work and family come first

i try to answer all pm's as soon as i can...sometimes they don't come through until the next day on my forum client

USPS is a big pain in the ass....i would ship another method but it would increase cost!!!

They have lost countless packages of mine but luckily i always try to send another out a faster way at my expense
