I have 2004 V8 Sport 4WD with JBL single disc system in excellent condition ,Chicago area .

I just tore out (not literally) my 6-disc JBL system to make way for a totally new system.

I don't need the single disk, but if you can't find anyone willing to trade, make me any kind of reasonable offer and the 6-disc is all yours (if you are still interested).

Just curious, why would anyone want the single disc over the six? Is there a benefit to it?

Good point, they wouldn't want the single-disc. But, they might want the surrounding trim for the single disc, as you need to swap trim if you switch from single-disc to 6-disc or 6-disc to single (or Navigation).
