Just got this done on my newest to me 3rd gen. I have replaced it on all 4 3rd gens that i've owned and after the first time doing it and rounding off the nuts even with a line wrench all i can say is USE VISE GRIPS! works like a charm every time then i use the line wrench after its loose. Stay frosty!
