just want to know what everyone gets from there 4runner.
I have 95 4x2 I get 240miles per tank and that really really pushing it. fill up every 4days. so I use only the Cheap stuff. am I the only one with a gas guzzler?

My average is 19.5 MPG and around 320 miles before I fill up. I have a 3.4 V6.

Just hit 2k miles on an 03 SR5 V8, last tank was 19.2 driving real easy, trying to get good mileage with mixed freeway and surface streets. The computer said 22.2.

Changed oil for first time, Toyota filter and Mobil 1 5w-30. I will check mileage a few more times over the next thousand miles to see what happens.

How are you doing with your mileage........ and how much does your computer differ from actual calculations?

On my '97 We're getting 21-22 mpg in mixed highway/city driving. (3.4l V6)

I drive fast, but very smooth.

I use mid grade octane - ideally you want the lowest octane that doesn't ping (or cause the computer to compensate for pinging).

Yes! And your FSM should list what that is.

Milage

I have an`88 Runner with a 3.0 V6. If I baby it with thin oil (10w30) during warm weather I get about 325 miles to a tank. If I have thick oil in it, which I usaully do (20w50) and still baby it I get 295 miles per tank. If I drive it hard and do alot of city driving it gets even worse! 270 miles to a tank. My tank holds about 60 litres Whatever that is in Imperial I don`t know.
