fuel pump need help asap

fuses relays are good. i turn key on, don't hear anything. i loosened the fitting to the fuel filter and not a drop is coming out, with key on. one thing i haven't checked is power to the pump. where is the connector and what color wires do i need to check for power? someone feel free to call me i need to resolve asap. only vehicle i have. 8132701245

Ivan, I wish I new. Never had to find out where the connector is.

So you had 12v at the relay or are you just using a test light?

I would take off the tank guard, grab a rubber mallet, KOEO, and give it some hard hits.

i dropped the tank and took the pump out. put power to it and nothing. tapped on it and it started running. time to replace. what is the denso part number everyone buys? or delphi? or whatever works?

I was in the same boat a few months ago. Mine crapped out while I was driving to work. I went on Advanceautoparts.com and bought a Bosch pump and new
Strainer. Payed online and got 25% off and picked it up at the local store.

I did mine 8 months ago bought the following from amazon
fuel pump seal denso part 952-0006
fuel filter denso 954-0019
denso fuel pump 951-0001

I also want to add, I did mine 00 about 6 months ago and ordered a fuel pump and it came with the filter sock from Amazon.

Denso 950-0100 Fuel Pump.

Advanced auto parts has denso listed on their site but it's not store pickup maybe you can call them and see if they can get it for you sameday from their local warehouse. Also they have coupon codes on line.

It may be a little late but the connector is accessible by lifting the rear seat bottom.

Just had my second OEM pump fail. It was a used dense from Evo 8 lancer that is a 190lph getting ready for a future supercharger. It failed before I could get one. lol

Good luck OP and hope you found a quality pump. My mother in law has replaced her Bosch pump 3 times in 5 years.

You can get a 'high quality' Chinese pump off fleabay for as low as $6.00!!! Wonder how long they last.:guitar2:

advanced auto didn't have any in stock. i ordered one from napa, denso complete kit, for $106. their stock number is 151-22405. below this number is stamped 950-0100. got it going saturday afternoon. i feel it runs better now, having a bit more response than before.
