Fuel pump ?

So i bought an 85' 4runner several months ago, and it is due to be delivered to me right before christmas. i need to replace the fuel pump. i found some on e-bay. one was listed as a fuel pump, another was listed as an electric fuel pump. Is there a difference b/t the two? which one do i need? does anyone know an average price. so far i have found them around $160. Thanks in advance. It's Friday! It's a good Day!

A 22R (carb) uses amechanical pump mounted on the engine.
A 22RE (EFI) uses an electric pump mounted in the tank.

The elec pump is much more $.

If you want an average price, get out the yellow pages and start calling parts stores.

hey, so thanks for the info. As it turns out, the gas tank is already off of the 85' 4runner, so i guess you don't have to be a genius, huh?!? looks like i will be dropping $150ish on the part. Thanks for the help! have a good one!
