Fuel question

So recently I have been driving on freeway and with my cruise on and on flat grounds my car chugs every once in awhile. It doesnt make me lose speed and its so random im not sure what it is. Also I Have noticed that when I am taking off at a stoplight or something and really give it gas my car seems to stall like my fuel or air is messed up when driving. Any suggestions on what to do?
