Does passenger side bracket need to be clearanced for stock exhaust?

625mm from inside driver frame rail to left edge of bracket. Am I setup wrong?

ALSO - does anyone have a PN or link to the upper straps?

Hi there! You'll need to reconfigure the exhaust - it will need to go to the right to clear the tank itself (I positioned the tank off-center to make room to snake an exhaust pipe through there)

Maybe side dump in front of rear tire over control arm? this would certainly clean up all departure clearances. That was my first thought, but what have others done? Just a custom bend to get around tank and out similar location? There doesn't happen to be a bolt on tail pipe to get around that is there?

on my truck, I'm going to go over the frame at the rear of the wheel well and out the side of the bumper (1" body lift and some pinch weld trimming)

well, getting close on the bumper. I'm happy with the center section - particularly in that I was able to match the large radius at the top of the tail lamp at the bottom of the hatch opening. I've always had a problem with how that area is handled on other bumpers, so I'm pretty pleased with how this turned out:

- and the side clearance is good for crawling.

Frame mounts fit the bumper face profile really well:

BUT the sides are a bit tight on the fender well side. This is the clearance with a stuffed 35:

I’ll be revising the sides to add 10mm for ease of installation. (It’ll still clear a 37, I believe.)

Rad!! The radiused sheet step and use of OEM cover put this bumper over the top for best kit avail IMO. Very nice work Keith. Keep it up!

Matching up your bumper to the lines of the hatch was impressive! Bumper is looking amazing. We're seriously going to have to chat about how to make it work with a 2" body lift.

nope! I designed it to use the factory running board covers. I'm actually surprised no one else has done this..!

My only concern with the rear hatch radius matching is that on hard hits, my rear bumper will deflect quite a bit. That gap is pretty close! Almost have to pair this bumper with the stiff rear body mounts (which I haven't done).

In the photo the bumper isn't completely centered; the sides will maintain the factory gap between the hatch and taillight, and that gap grows larger as it goes around the curve of the hatch to a 1/2" gap along the bottom (frame flex is a concern.)

Almost have to pair this bumper with the stiff rear body mounts (which I haven't done).

No sir, trying to squeeze in a couple of hours tomorrow to test fit the driver's side on the prototype bumper, then I can submit the production order.
(which means I'll be taking client orders later this week!) :nod:

At the moment, SS makes the rear pair, but Energy Suspension makes the entire truck set. I think DuroBumps has them in the queue though..
