Finally got the full FJ Cruiser suspension installed. I got it from a FJ forum member for $150 shipped. It included front and rear springs and shocks, fronts still assembled. They were from a 2008 FJ w/ 3000 miles. Even though they are just the black tokico's, there is a noticeable difference from the stockers with 115,000miles. I also used a 1/4" Toytec spacer up front to level it out some.
Install went fairly well after reading the installs from other members and a buddy helping. No doubt this is a two person job. The only b*#*h part was installing the new rear FJ springs. Did the springs and shocks in 4 hours.
My main goal was to upgrade the springs/shocks prior to new tires this Fall. While I was at it, I wanted to reduce the front rake of the 4th gen. However, did not want the running boards higher in the front. They turned out almost perfect with this setup, maybe a very very slight incline, but nothing noticeable at all. Here are some figures from before and after. Keep in mind this is w/ 50 miles after install and no alignment.

Next up I'm staying with stock size tires...Revo2's. I don't think the stock size looks too bad with this slight lift. And, I will retain MPG's and spedo accuracy. I also didn't want to buy an extra tire for the spare, which I would have to if up-sizing tire. I'd rather spend the money on a top of the line tire, than the same amount on a lower quality tire in a different size. If I had a bigger lift, I would consider differently. But at this time my choice is stock size (we'll see if I still think so this Fall
