That's what I thought! When I had my Tacoma I wheeled the heck out of it through harder terrain than that, and NEVER had a single problem with it.

Did that happen because he was turning the wheel while punching the throttle and the tire suddenly found some grip but with all that torque blew a tie rod OR is it cuz it's a POS?!

Neech, a little of both. Unfortunately, this is not uncommon in vehicles with lockers or limited-slip diff. ATRAC can be susceptible to this too.

It's just too much stress on the suspension components, especially when the wheel is turned...the cheaper it is, the easier it will break. I know a few Jeep Wrangler Rubicons who have blown their front AXLE components in similar situations with lockers on.

BTW, H2's front differential has ATRAC, like our 4runners. The driver should not have punch the throttle so much. So, it's a combination of driver error, bad luck, and weak components.
