I didn't see one here.

Had one girlfriend in the truck not too long after I got my '02. She is going through all the buttons as we are driving to dinner, playing with everything, figuring it all out. She hits the down button on the power rear windshield and freaks the **** out. Presses it, hears noise, turns around. Presses again, hears noise, looking back again, can't figure out what it is. I told her it was the power rear suspension, and if she did it up/down enough we would get the bouncing lowrider effect. I laughed when she tried it at the next light. She punched me.

I was once showing a co-worker some pictures of one of my last off-road trips. This is what she said "Your truck will go off-road?" One of those here's your sign moments. Especially since I talk about wheeling it all the time.

Last week, some guy asked me if i was afraid to drive my 4R b/c of the Toyota fiasco. I told him i had my 4R for 7 yrs now and if my brakes go out you better pray i don't bump into your little Sentra to make it stop. HAHA...

I usually get a comment about those funky "round" rotory type switchs for the heat/AC. Had a guy that tried twisting them once. Got to admit they are a little odd. Other than that everyone seems to like the 4Runner.

Wish I had a $1 for every time someone has come up to me at a turnpike plaza rest area and said "Would not have thought that your Toyota could tow that (big) trailer". The statements usually come from tractor trailer drivers or big pickup drivers. My usual response is : "My 4Runner does not even breathe hard pulling my trailer, even up mountains".

Someone posted on facebook that the Japanese were mounting a new attack on America using our owns citizens as weapons!!! They had plotted to sell us all Toyota vehicles for years and that there was a glitch built into all the vehicles to accelerate with no brakes, or other means to stop the vehicles. He call them Kamikaze Cars!!!

I posted that I needed a large Kamikaze sticker for my windshields (but backwards like an ambulance) so people would read it in thier rearview mirror and get the hell out of my way!!!

I was once in a parking lot where they were interviewing people about the Toyota situation. At the time, I was in my parents GX470. I approached the reporter and she told me that she was only interviewing those who drove Toyotas. I told her that the GX470 was technically a Toyota product and my response: "Toyota and Lexus are two entirely different companies."

I love when my service advisor hears 80K on the 4Runner and says that she still is a baby.
