Fusebox

Hey guys and gals, new to the forum and new to the 4runner family. Picked up a 88 4runner 22re couple months back and need some help figuring some stuff out. When i bought the truck the previous owner installed a keyless but I think the fuse blew. I checked the fusebox on the driver side and none of the fuses are blown and also checked the fusebox in the engine bay. I believe there is another fusebox on the passenger side but i can't locate it. I don't know what the p.o spliced into for power for the keyless so its making this quite difficult. Any ideas on how to get to the other fusebox? Thanks!

i dont know much about the older 4runners, but i am bored at work and did a little bit of digging.

Toyota 4Runner Technical Information

that says there is only 2 fuse boxes.

hope i helped atleast a tad. ill keep digging to see.

Edit: wiki answers gave me this
"Theres actually 3 fuse box's in an 88 4Runner. one of them is under the driver side dash on the left side and there is one behind the glove box and the last one is under the hood on the passenger side behind the battery"

Edit: found on fixya.com
You have a fuse box under the hood behind the battery and another located under the dash on the left side of the vehicle access is gained by snapping off the plastic cover. Later models also have a small fuse box located behind the glove box.

Thanks for all the info! Well I checked behind my glove box and I'm not seeing a fusebox so I'm guessing it came in the later models. Im thinking maybe there was an inline fuse somewhere and I need to locate that. Thanks for all the help!
