Perhaps many already know what I recently discovered but I found out from my local dealership parts counter that buying thru their online store makes for some incredible savings and they offer free local pick up.
For many years, before I moved to Texas, I've bought OEM parts from Camelback or Toyota Of Dallas because their online prices were so good. Still had to pay shipping though.
Recently I went in to my local dealership Toyota Of Mckinney with a hand full of part numbers and the guys at the counter told me to order them thru their online site because they do not discount the prices in store. Especially since I had the part numbers I needed.
Just to compare it was $352 for LBJ in store and on their web site $207. That was even better than Toyota Of Dallas. In addition, thru the dealership website, I got free local pick up. Took 2 business days to get the parts (as good as Amazon). Since then I've order a ton of OEM parts and I just pick them up when they come in on my way to work.
Best price I could find for OEM floor mat kit was $78 + $16 shipping off Ebay. Got them for $63 out the door and picked them up the next day.
If you are like me and use the heck out of Japan-Parts.EU to look up part numbers, check to see if your local dealership has a online parts counter and compare prices. Perhaps yours does and you can get great prices on parts and get free local pick up.
