2 wires going to a chip doesn't make any sense at all..................you need 2 just to power the thing. Typically these chips that plug into the IAT sensor are just a resistor. A little trick for the motor to think the air intake is cooler. If they are actually using a chip, then they are just piggybacking on the internal resistance and using that instead of just a dumb .05 resistor. Chip looks more like $60 worth than a single resistor.
