GA Trail Riders Fest @ Gulches (SC) 10/19

I posted up about this in another thread with a bunch of Southeast guys, but figured I would make a separate thread for this as well.

Georgia Trail Riders, a club I belong to, is having their annual Fest at Gulches ORV in Laurens, SC on 10/19. It's really the whole weekend, if you want it to be, as I am getting over there Friday.

The club members have all of the reserved camping taken, so call Skip at the park to see if anything else may be left (parking lot) at this point. Otherwise, make it a day trip, or there is a hotel not too far (15-20 min) away.

The raffle is for club members only, but everything else is open to all. Granted, the club is mostly J**ps, but there are a few Yotas, and all are welcome. I'd love to see a few more Runners on the trails that weekend.

If you've never been to Gulches, it's a great (albeit small) park, with wheeling for all levels of rigs.

[MENTION=67110]RedDragonATL[/MENTION] if you ever do anything closer to my area I'd definitely be up for it. I'm in Cartersville, GA right now for college baseball. After October my weekends are pretty much free. I've been having withdrawals haha.

Sounds like a good trip though! I wish I could attend.

Cool. Steve, glad to hear it! Thanks again for the welding, etc you did on my rig. It will get tested this weekend, for sure! *fingers crossed*

Well, it does look like we will be getting some rain on Saturday, but hopefully it's not a downpour. Gulches and rain don't mix well.

I'm heading out first thing tomorrow morning! Can't wait!!

Had a blast at Gulches as usual. We saw some other Yotas there, but I don't think they heard about it from me....they were locals.

Mostly Jeeps. Jason [MENTION=67110]RedDragonATL[/MENTION], a well built Tacoma, and myself are about the only exceptions.
It's a good group though. Organized, and consistent.
