Garage jack for me truck

thanks for this thread, I'm needing a new jack. Ive got a craftsmen 3 ton, but I have to put a piece of 4x4 on it to lift my wheels off the ground for the front end, the back I can lift from the pumpkin
I also use 6 ton jack stands and put the wheels under the truck as well..

HF torque wrench.....not a fan. On the BMW forums we used to call them breaker bars, very inaccurate. A friend bought one and we compared it to my craftsmen and my old snap on. Way off. Hopefully over the years they have gotten better.

I have two floor jacks. One has a 6" schedule 80 pipe welded to the cup.

well now the weather has finally gotten decent so I can get my rims done.
And HF is having a sale so I can get the socket set, a new air compressor and whatever else strikes my fancy.
I'm hoping to get the rims done today or tomorrow (weather holds out).

Make sure the sockets are 6 point or dont get them. I deal with rust like you & 12pt sockets will round off your bolts & nuts making the job even more difficult. You'll waste the whole day trying to drill stuff out.
I really think you should buy Tekton sockets from Amazon. Or if you need them for this weekend get the Kobalt from Lowes.

I got the rims completed this morning and love the way it looks.
there's a few rough spots but overall not too bad I'd say.
Let's see if I can get the pics added.
