Garage Rental in Denver

This may not be the best subforum for this request, but it's specific to 3rd gen 4runners, so I'll start here.

I'm two or so months from beginning a somewhat large scale project, and am currently in search of a garage space in the rent in the Denver area.


Preferred criteria:

- 2+ car garage space (or ~ at least 20x20)
- Car lift
- Flexible access (I'll be using weekday evenings and weekends to work on project)
- Familiarity with car projects (It can be a messy affair while I'm "in the trenches" and I would only feel comfortable if you can understand that the mess is cleaned up at the end of the day)
- Located on the front range (Lakewood, Arvada, Wheat Ridge, Highland Park, etc)
- 2 month availability (I'm budgeting approx 3 weeks to complete the project, but I'd be foolish to not allocate at least double the time)

Good luck finding something. You are going to have some healthy competition trying to find a "garage" or "warehouse" space in Denver. I would push the lift part. You're not going to find one, but you might find someone who will believe you are going to use the space to work on cars and not grow.

Not gonna lie, I love my 2 car garage and it's nice and open for me to work in (4Runners are small though and fit pretty much anywhere). Sacramento is a bit of a drive from Denver though lol. However, I see so many people fill their garages with piles of useless junk and park their two cars worth $30,000+ out in the driveway or on the street. Still baffles me.

Even better if you can ask your agent to give you MLS access, if they do that in CO. Our agent did that and we would see before they hit the market. You are right about Zillow and Trulia, they often show homes that have been off the market for months and are very slow. Only good for looking up history on a home and relative values.
