Does anyone know if there is a way to install Garmin topo software into the stock 2015 navigation system?

Not an owner of the Toyota Nav, but Map Databases and associated GUI software are generally vendor-specific (fairly vertical), and swapping amongst different brands/formats of Navigation MAP databases is a non-starter to my knowledge.
I'd love to get Garmin GPS GUI and Maps on my Alpine INA-W910, but it's simply not possible.

Navteq data is used by a lot of nav units, not sure but I think the entune system uses Navteq. tomtom uses teleatlas I think.
that's the easy part, the raw data is the same, how its presented via the ui/software is where garmin excels.
if you look on the sd card, all you will see is the raw data file for the nav to read from, all the ui/software code is in the headunit.
now if you figure out how the head unit is reading the data file then you could build a new data file with your requirements.

I know on garmins you can import other data files that follow a standard format (my state game/fish put out garmin maps so I don't see how hard that is to make unique maps to be imported)
some aftermarket head units have garmin built into them. but again its aftermarket.
