gas light trouble please help

Okay so about 3 months ago i pulled out the cluster and replaced the main lights with l.e.d lights and everything is working just fine, however sence I did this the gas light is on all the time nomatter how much gas I have and it started this after I reinstalled the cluster, not a huge deal, but its getting anoying because I like my vehicals to have no warning lights lit up, any help is much appriciated agian the gas gauge works is the gas light that's always on full or empty

My gas light is on no matter how much gas in in my tank also. However mine will flicker a little as I go over bumps in the road so I contribute it to a bad/loose ground wire somewhere. I just haven't made the time to look for where it is at.

Check to make sure the ground wire for the light is connected well.

hmm well at least im not the only one, mine stays solid it dont flicker at all, i would think a bad/loose ground would make the light not work at all, i could just take the bulb out but thats not the right way

Sounds like when you replace your lights with leds you crossed some thing.


Take every back apart and remove the leds until the low level light is off. Then that was your problem. reinstall the other leds.

If you can't figure it out, then remove the the low level light bulb and be done with it.
