Gas Price is getting radicalize!!

Last time I fill my 4R was Monday and regular was 1.99 . when i stop to get some smoke after work today it jump up to $2.25! wonder how high it will go? If its goes any higher I'm going to have to quit smoker to gas my 4R!:soapbox: :wtf: :dammit: lol

They say 3$..at least this year........Who knows what it will cost next year....Soon 50$ is not going to be enough to fill it up..
It's nothing new to me... Back in my homeland was the same thing..That is why I had 1.6 turbo diesel WV Golf...I loved that car....

Gas in my town already is $4.08 for an imperial (160 oz) gallon, in Canadian funds.

$2.25 US is about $3.25 equivalency for an imperial gallon in Canadian funds. I am going stateside this year for holidays

If gas prices continue to rise and stay there, the SUV will become more of a status symbol..... not much different than driving a BMW or Benz.

Not every Tom, Dick, and Harry will be able to afford the high fuel prices of SUVs.

Then again, the hybrids are already here. The Ford Escape hybrid is already available and the Lexus RX is right behind it!

I doubt you'll see that.. They have the hybrid highlander and you should start seeing hybrid minivans, but SUV's probably won't be hybrids for many years to come (may 2010?) SUV's are still considered a luxury, not a necessity, whereas the crossovers and minivans are seen as somewhat of a luxurious necessity. Sedans and coupes have been hybrids for a few years now, and these are the essential commuter vehicles.

The reason that gas costs more in other countries is because of the taxes that are levied, they use these additional taxes to pay for other social issues. I think they call it socialism But it does help to sell more economic vehicles. I hope we never go there. Cominefornia is bad enough with their increased costs because of the different blends of gas for the "environment" :bash: The news has lead me to now believe that it really doesn't matter if we could get more oil since we don't have the refining cap. this is also because of the enviromental issues, no one wants to go through the problem that have to be over come to build one. It's crap since China has no rules and I think we do breath the same air they do.
