So last night on the way to the bachelor party..

I noticed gas jumped though the roof.. In my town, an dollar over night...

Wtf?

I'm seeing $4.59 for regular and some places $5.09 for 91...

I don't live in the bay but why the hell I'm seeing these prices..

Try $4.99 for regular and $5.19 for premium up here in the mountains! I heard a gas station in Carlsbad had regular for $5.29

My parents in ft. Collins said prices jumped .20 over night.

Both California refineries are partially down, Benecia b/c of the fire and the other one for over-due maintenance. Then the supply line is also under repair or some sort of shutdown.

Suppliers are having to ship gas into the state from either other states or offshore. There's no way with things like they are that our production can keep up with demand.

It jumped 12 cents a gallon here in Dallas. Cannot understand why???

The economy is in the pooper and gas should be around a buck ten a gallon.

All oil companys are reporting record profits. Go figure.
