If you have an SA around they take competitors coupons any day of the week, and Tuesdays they double any coupon.
If you get the 'rewards card' It's got the little key chain tags... you can get 3 cents off
If you also get a reloadable fuel only gift card you can get 3 cents off regular, 5 cents off plus, and 7 cents off premium.
Shell usually has coupons for 10cents off, and I haven't tried it with my cubs reward for Holiday stations but I think it would work too (most grocery stores have a program I think) I try to keep copies of them in the glove box and just print new ones every month.
I have the SC for my 2000, so I get premium... But any day of the week I can get...
10+7+3=20 cents off
And on Tuesdays I can get
10*2+7+3=30 cents off!
Most times I end up saving ~$5/tank which makes it worth not paying at the pump. I DD my truck, and I can see this saving some money down the pipeline. And saving for a wedding is hard enough.
Just wanted to pass this on to others that might enjoy saving some Cash.
