swerks Member Jun 23, 2018 #1 Any one have a problem with gas tank rubbing on frame with suspension flex ?? mine seems to make a clunk at times. I was able to shim it with some rubber pieces but I don't think this is a permanent fix, any suggestions ???

Dropzone New member Jun 24, 2018 #2 Your tank shouldn't be hitting your frame. I'd check bushings etc. Make sure your tank mounts are in good shape. I never had that sort of problem even dragging my 81 Trekker across rocks Last edited: Jun 24, 2018
