Gauging interest in UCA group buy

Thought I'd put thus out there. I need new upper ball joint and bushings so I figured might as well get some caster back.

I'm not one hundred percent sure how this works, but I figure if we have enough people and agree on a manufacturer we might be able to get a bulk rate. Post up if your interested and what brand you prefer. I'll keep this first post updated.

I've been hearing some bad things about Light Racing as of late, granted I have no personal Experience. That said one thing I can vouch for is I like the Uni-ball of TC or Cam vs reusing upper ball joints like LR does.

I'd be happy with Total Chaos or Camburg, heard lot's of good about their brands.

I was thinking about doing this exact same thing. I'm already talking to All Pro to see what they can do. When I hear back (hopefully today) I'll post up what they have to say. You might want to email Camburg and TC just to see what they can do. Personal all three are about the same, and you're really paying more with the larger companies due to overhead. I'd also say away from LR, but that's just my opinion.

FYI.. LR does not reuse the factory UBJ. It comes with its own.

I personally would rather TC or Camburg if this goes off. Camburg is already a bit less expensive so I would try with them or one of the distributors.

I've PM'ed [MENTION=84643]JBurt[/MENTION] the deals on LR UCA's from Fat Bob's and AllPro.

Fat Bob's isn't going to offer a discount on the price since they already have the lowest price around of $379.99. However they are will do do free shipping to one location with 5-9 buyers (you'll still need to pay for shipping from that location to you), or free shipping directly to you with 10+ buyers.

AllPro is willing to do 15% off with 10+ buyers, and 15% with free shipping if we have 24+ buyers. You looking at $424 for these with the possibility of free shipping.

This decision isn't up to me; I'm just helping.

I think its worth adding, as some here already know, that the LR are a totally different line and quality of product as the rest. There is a reason they are 50% of the price.

I'm still waiting to hear back. I'm personally not interested in the LR arms. I've read too many bad reviews over the last year or so.
