Gear Selector Squeak

I have searched a few different times using different criteria and can't seem to find anyone who has posted this. At the risk of getting roasted for posting a new thread.... here I go!

I'm hearing a squeak coming from my shifter when I put it in gear. It's probably very simple but before I go down the rabbit hole I was hoping to see if anyone else has encountered this before. If not then I'll tear into it and see what I see and try to document. :fear:

For reference, I've got about 52K miles on my 2015 LE.

me too. sometimes it sounds like its coming from the outside, which raises my hackles.
I hear it quite often.

I encourage you to fix it and tell me how to do it.
