Granted inflation is a thing, but I can't imagine the original sticker price was much for than the $9500 they're asking! Only 100k on the original engine is impressive though.

MSRP for the '85 back in the day was around $11k - $16k depending on options. I know I still have the window sticker for my '86 somewhere. I need to look for it again.

With it being an unmolested '85 he could probably ask more than that and get it no problem!
