Well, it looks like most of us are in agreement on the Gen 5 and Gen 6 models, that is, either one will be a top model to own and both should give us Toyota quality over the years. I like others opted for a 2024 model knowing the 2025 was just around the corner, but knowing the 2025 would have several upgrades over the Gen 5's I felt like there was no way the Gen 5 models could lose much in value and would still be a good buy in the long run. Now, I'm 79 years old, so the Gen 5 being "old school" didn't even enter into my buying decision, I feel it works well for me, the more electronics does not way into my buying decision. I would like to add one thing here, we took a trip to Oklahoma this past weekend, around a 500 mile trip and averaged 23 MPG, traveling between 60-65 mph, I thought that was exceptional for that vehicle. This vehicle will not be off-roaded and is just my driver as my wife has a Lexus RX350, she really like the 4 Runner and thinking about a new GX 550, wow she is won over.
