General grabber at2

I'm sure this question has been asked a million times. I'm looking for feedback on grabber at2's. I'm going to buy within the next week or two. I live in the mountains of East Tennessee so snow is a big factor. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

In snow they should be ok but ice will be useless. Welcome to AT tires. Also, look at the hundreds of reviews from discount tire's site and a few more.

To keep from asking the same question a million times, the search function helps alleviate this issue. Not trying to be negative or anything, just trying to point you in the right direction.

Great tired that love snow. Used mine I. The dumping last year. They can take studs but might wanna keep chain close for ice.

I've been happy with the tire. Does well in snow, no so good in ice. For the money, it's a great deal. I'd buy another set. Thread life has been great. Strong, durable and good value.

I have 2 sets of these. My first was a 285/75/16, and after a couple thousand miles (about 3k) I decided the 285s were bigger than I wanted. I dropped down to the same tire in 265/75/16 and was extremely happy. The biggest downside, and this is complete opinion. If you are looking for a streetable AT tire for the elements they are great, but they only come in load range E. So they are a little less car like and ride a little stiffer. I have found that they have preformed better than expected in almost all the situations I have put them through. Trails to the street, 18 inches of water and mud, and standing water on the street. Always been a solid performer. The only thing I don't like is the tire lugs don't clean as well as I'd like. Until you hit 50mph and that one rock comes flying out. Just my humble opinion.

Thanks that helps a lot. That's the same size I'm going to go with. I appreciate the feedback.
