General Maintenance

Can someone who does all of there own maintenance please help me out. I just got a 04 V8 4R and learned how to change the oil(thanks to this forum ). I need a complete list of all of the other maintenance tasks that need to be performed on a regular basis. I know this is a general request, but I am trying to learn more about my vehicle. I have around 26k miles. I also have looked at toyotas suggested list, but feel like there are some procedures missing. Basically, I want to know what the receipt would have listed if I were to take my 4R in to the dealership and asked them to perform all of the necessary maintenances tomorrow. What exactly would they do? Also, does something special need to happen at 30k? Thanks again guys

Yea I read the forum alot. It is just hard when there are 29 pages of information about different maintenance procedures. Thats why I was asking for a consolidated list of what needs to be done and at what mileage increments.

one major way to save money...


any time you replace fluids (oil, tranny, etc.) go and buy it yourself and bring it with you. The dealerships will, more or less, charge you double for the same kind/amount of fluid. Even buying it from their parts department will save you money.
