what is wet conditions. Rain, storm, wet muddy ground?

65psi?? Seems super high- why?

I now have over 5000 miles on mine and plenty of time in the dirt- still really love them. The little rain we have had here in LA I seem to recall they were not great on wet pavement. Also they are now only very slightly noisy in turns- not really noisy but I mean I can hear the tread which was not apparent when brand new. No tread noise otherwise. Still feel load D is overkill even for the off road I do in Mojave- mainly as the truck already has a bouncy somewhat stiff ride to begin with.

I ran D Loads on mine, at 65psi. They were 33.50/11.50/16s.

Between them and the Stiffer OME suspension, they rode hard, but still fantastic.

Did the OP pick these up? Best All Terrain tire available.

If you are out when it first starts to rain it will be more slipery. That is the most slipery time. The water lifts up the oils, and grime and smog particles that comes to rest on the street. Especially if it's just a little drizzle and the water doesn't do a quick job of washing the street. After it's rained a while and the oil and grime have been washed away the tires will have an easier time. Just keep that in mind. And ususlly this effect exists more after a longer absence of rain.

i am a yokohama dealer and we have alot of customers that do not like these tires. they are a very high maintance tire. must stay on top of rotation if they ever start to cup out there is no coming back. and as far as the inflation we do not recomend putting the max inflation in tires. go by the manufacturer specifications in door. most tire manufacturers now in like a 285 70 17 most all are load range e's which will hold 80 psi. this only recomended for hd trucks. on a toyota would only put 35 at very most. i run 33 1050 15 km2s at 28 psi. to get very most effective wear is to do the chalk test.

Frankly, I find that hard to believe. Not at all saying you're lying; it's just that I've had several sets of these tires and not once have I ever had any problems.

(Then again, I rotate mine every other oil change like clockwork.)

I found in my research both here on this site and elsewhere that the vast majority of owners had nothing but good things to say about them- which is why I eventually bought a set myself.
